This fabulous Suffragette Pendant is Circa 1900, set in 9ct Yellow Gold and set with a beautiful central Amethyst, Peridot dropper and adorned with Pearls all around.

All original Victorian, steeped in history.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine. Their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking!

Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions.

The Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty and was believed to be a stone of springtime by ancients who considered it a gift from Mother Nature.
